Built by a ham, for hams.
K1AF Software is a subsidiary of Burnsoft Development LLC. We make native Android apps for amateur radio, so the phone in your pocket can decode, transmit, and log without a laptop or a soundcard tangle.
It started with FT8AF, a community fork of FT8CN. The same radio stack, logbook and look now power SSTVAF, RTTYAF, JTTYAF and SmartSDR AF, and Roads On The Air turns the drive itself into an operating program.
Much of the code was written on I-70 at 70 mph, heading to and from Hamvention: laptop on the passenger seat, radio in the back. Some of the best debugging happens at highway speed.
With thanks to Reid, N0RC, and to BG7YOZ and N0BOY, whose FT8CN work the AF apps stand on. SmartSDR AF is an independent client and is not affiliated with FlexRadio Systems.
